My first hmd is the Pimax 4K and I bought a leap motion for controller emulation. The tracking is near perfect and the demos are the best immersionwise. I will definately buy the module on the 8K if more software is available

Why do they not make a sensor that mounds around the shoulders (or other format) and has forward… side and back facing camera. can still attach to the headset easily enough in the back. No need for a controller at all this way. For haptic feedback you could have a palm mounted haptic vibration unit
I love the idea of this but loosing tracking of your hands if they are not directly in front of you is a bummer.
