Issue: BSOD on connecting headset

I get APC_INDEX_MISMATCH BSOD when I plug in my Pimax 4k headset, with both PiPlay versions 2.0.5.46 and 1.2.97.

Seconds before the BSOD I get the message, the headset can only be used in extended mode.

My gut tells me it might be a conflict with the graphic card driver and the PiPlay driver.

  • Newest NVIDIA drivers.
  • Tested both new and old versions of PiPlay.

Any suggestions and help appreciated.

It was certainly was a driver error, solved it by reinstalling windows.

Hi, please let me know your PC config, i.e. GPU card and its driver version, CPU, OS, RAM.

Also plz try to manually install GPU driver same as below:
