Is there who can help me for stuck pimax screen when it off the steamVR

It make me crazy today… for the not ready issue with the steamVR. I searched a solution in there forum. but there was helpless.

I’m very patience. I tried to fix this issue by myself today full time.

I have uninstalled and installed the piplay, steamVR, nvidia driver over 10 times.

it taken 24 hour ? or more… because nvidia getting crazy after repeat installing… anyway…

First… I unstalled whole program for the VR and graphic card.

and I installed all latest version of drivers. and moved installed directories to other drive and back to C drive.

I checked a driver path file. and corrected. so… hooo. anyway… my pimax screen always stuck freezing when off the steamVR. and it doesn’t work with steamVR on again. it just show me “NOT READY”. 308 code…

it should be rebooting my PC to use the pimax again. I reconnected my pimax to run with the steamVR. but it was useless.

I tried everything I think… now… I’m considering for download old version of piplay or … my GTX1070 driver…

Oh…so I’m using the noloVR. Is it matter with this issue? hmm.

Not sure there is a couple of topics with nvidia.

@lukeb reccommends do piplay & nvidia installs with headset disconnected (usb & hdmi) after install reboot & connect headset.

Hi Heliosurge. Happy New Year.

maybe… I tried both installing as disconnected… I will try it again. thanx. …

Ah… I solved this issue as downgraded NVIDIA driver and piplay.

PiPlay_Setup_2.0.7.54_EN , 388.43-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe.

and I have uninstalled the nolo VR.

Well I updated to the latest NVIDIA driver (version 390.65) and everything is working normally.
Again, I disconnected Pimax before I updated.

The update went smoothly and didn’t need to restart PC.

No sure about Nolo users, but again I would unplug anything like that before updating.

Any idea if Pimax is doing anything to improve ghosting for Pimax4K?
It would be great to get some improvement there.

Unfortunately they haven’t given any update on the 4k. I know many of us have been waiting on an update to ghosting.

I was hoping they would go with the idea to implement some kind of timing adjust bars. To adjust shudder timings.

@Pimax-Support @bacon @deletedpimaxrep1. We know your resources have been tight has your team had a chance to consider with a potenial timeline?

Bare in mind a ball park date would be fine; where in future could be updated if more time needed.

Hi ,I will submit your suggestion to our product department. @bacon And I will update you once there is any progress.

Do you have tested the latest NVIDIA driver “390.65-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql,exe” ?

It cause freezing screen when the steamVR off. and it can’t be recognize with pimax. just show me “Not Ready”.

old version of nvidia driver was fine. I’m using the “PiPlay_Setup_2.0.7.54_setup.exe”.

My graphic card is GTX 1070.

Ah… I think… noloVR driver causing a crash when the steamVR off… I uninstalled the noloVR driver. and it is fine now.

but… I have a problem to use the noloVR’s controller as the vive controller without noloVR driver…

The piplay offer the basic noloVR driver. but this controller’s button do not work on the unity. trigger doesn’t work.

I have tested the noloVR SDK’s unity package too. but it is same thing… ah… sorry… noloVR driver also do not work on the unity too… Hoo… I think… noloVR is suck… on the unity. I have tested unity 5.X 2017. both same thing…

ah… NVM… it’s horrible thing… it doens’t matter for uninstalled noloVR. stuck again my pimax… with the NVIDIA 390.65 driver… Maybe I have to find more old version. I have tested 388.43 driver before. but it getting laggy and skipping frame. and shake a screen on the unity3D. Hmm…

I always clean uninstall the graphic driver in the safe mode .

Hmm… Piplay 2.0.5.46 which you linked main page of this site. getting failed during installing. I have turned off all anti-virus. Hmm… what is wrong with me. Did I something wrong? hoo…
