Is there going to be reprojection in the future?

im not really used to judder and stutter in vr since i had a rift and now own a vive. with the 5/8k almost every game only does 30-70 fps

compromise on settings or get used to some reprojection. or buy a 2080

That is what Pimax “Brainwarp” is for, unfortunately details are currently scarce on how well it will work or when it will be ready.

100 percent agree. with brainwarp an actual refresh of 60- 70 would be totally acceptable warped to 120-140.

as far as i know there very much is. sweviver talked about brainwarp being a set of re-projection tools some of which are currently implemented , others not.

I am saying Brainwarp is the Pimax version of reprojection.
I am not sure why they couldn’t use native Steam VR reprojection but there must be a technical reason because they wouldn’t want to spend time and resources attempting reinvent the wheel.
