Is it possible to use 5k+ face cowling on 8kx?

I prefer the 5k+ fitment and wondered if it is possible to use it’s face cowling and foam on my 8kx? I would also like to use the head strap.

I think…yes you can just swap them.
Not totally sure since I dont have an X but the confort kit is probably the same.

Maybe someone already removed it and can tell you for sure.

I would guess yes, as well. But after years of the original face cushion and headstrap, the comfort kit and KDMAS is soooooo nice.

Yes @Genesis did this as he found the comfort kit was no good for him. He also modified it for ET and custom fans with Vive DAS

Yes. Not only can it be done, but it helped me get the clarity correct when the Comfort Kit did not:

I tried it but I find the 5K+ cowling to be way worse. :stuck_out_tongue:
