I did get the psvr2 with pc adapter also out off curiosity,yes i bought the psvr2 again for this to test for my self. I returned my orginal pimax crystal because i hated the warping and the blooming because off the local dimming(i still need to try the pimax crystal light)
At the moment i still use the quest 3 with link cable(this with the right settings almost eliminate the compression)The quest 3 still has the best lenses and edge to edge clarity but lcd.
But there is something about the psvr2 even with the short comings like mura,softer image ,small sweetspot…
Dark games do ofcourse shine the most on it and the brightness and colors…
And i wish the controller tracking was better on the psvr2,the quest3 does this far better… But the colors and brightness and blacks and FOV on the psvr2… Damm i realy need the clarity and lenses from the quest 3 with the oled colors

After playing starwars squadron this realy shines on the psvr2 headset because off the color and the blacks and the brightness and Fov…This game i keep playing on this headset!

After some more testing i think i might prefer the psvr2 with pc adapter even above my quest 3,it looks more natural and its more immersive somehow even with the shortcomings… i think i am losing my mind lol…

And a another test,modded skyrim… the supersampled psvr2 is more immersive then my quest and old pimax crystal…I dont get it… i am a clarity addicted person but i prefer the psvr2 again with this game… But keep in mind i also use a rtx4090…

And now i played Moss at 120hz with the pc version again,it realy did blow me away with the colors and blacks… its stunning!i also did this on the pimax crystal and quest 3 but people try it on the psvr2 you will be amazed!

Also smartsmoothing works great with the psvr2,just played the forest at 120hz and smartsmooting enabled… just so fluid… And wow the moon at night is stunning!!

how is the fov---- psvr2 vs crystal?

@Djonko you realy need to try the psvr2 pc adapter and try some games,ofcourse we all know the terrible mura and small sweetspot… But some games had made me feel like the first wow moments that i had when i started with the old oculus cv1… I know its sounds strange… But the brightness and colors and blacks and bigger FOV adds alot to the immersion… i even like it better now then the quest 3…(i wish the psvr2 had the pancake lenses for the edge to edge clarity)

i been comparing my quest3 with the psvr2 on pc and my old pimax crystal(wich i returned) for weeks now…
And there is something about the psvr2 with pc…Better binocular overlap better color and brightness and blacks…
Everything feels more real for me(even with the shortcomings like mura etc)… Its even come so far now that i am gonna to sell my quest 3… And i had many vr headsets,(star vr one,varjo aero,pimax 8kx,quest3,pimax crystal etc) The 3d and immersion is better also better FOV…And for shooters far better rumble on the controllers…
If i turn on my quest3 now it feels like i am looking at a picture and i am not sucked into the world if you know what i mean…Its hard to explain but you need to try the psvr2 for a longer time on the pc and you see what i mean… i get the smile again on my face when i first tried vr with the oculus cv1…I need a micro oled valve index lol

how is the fov vs pimax crystal ,? my crystal is dead atm, so i consider to buy psvr2

For me its about the same… For my faceshape even the crystal felt smaller…

It takes some time to get used too because off the mura and smaller sweetspot…But the colors and brightness and blacks makes up for it for me… you loose offcourse the clarity,but will get other positives back…But for everybody its different offcourse

Damm i just had a amazing moment again in my heavy modded skyrim on the psvr2 on pc,but wow at night with a thunder storm the oled blacks and the brightness peaks from the lightning and the torches added so much immersion it was a blast(these things are realy missing in other headsets)… We need a big fov oled vr headset !

I sold my quest 3 because off the psvr2 on pc indeed…
But dont forget the quest 3 is much sharper and has amazing lenses…
But for me i think i am addicted to amazing brightness,colors and blacks and a bigger FOV for me even with the shortcomings like mura and lower resolution and softer picture…
But the immersion is better for me somehow on the psvr2 with pc… I am more in the game with the psvr2 on pc,and with the quest 3 it was more like looking at a nice sharp but dull picture if you know what i mean…
