Seems more than fair to me.
+1 to that. This is just a piece of plastic, a piece of foam, and a piece or rubber or plastic (nose cover) - cost to mass-manufacture probably ~10$, if they put it into audio strap shipment then should not add much to the shipment they already committed to doing free of charge. I guesstimate total cost to to fulfill below $100K, maybe even under $50K.

And were are they going to blow the air with the comfort kit fitted. there is a big chunk of plastic in the way.

Comfort kit is not an additional face cushion, they plan to send the extra face cushion with the audio strap.
My point is that current ergonomics and light bleed wont improve w/o the “comfort kit” which basically makes helmet comfortable to use, as right now it’s obviously not comfortable! I didnt vote to get a non-comfortable product which is a pain to use long term, so I think it’s fair to deliver neccesary parts making the device finally comfortable, at no charge.
Right now its almost like we have an expensive car but without headrests and with veeeery poor seats, and they want us to pay for that extra comfort.
