High ppi display solutions

As this is not in her update thread for the m1. This is not off topic just because xunshu is the op.

It even gives explanation that new tech takes time to implement before hitting the market as some expressed concerns with the new tech emerging.

The week isn’t over yet(May 17 last update, now May 23) So presumptions don’t help anything

Hmm interesting, thanks. I wish we had more data on safety.

Indeed it always sucks to know that safety exposures are often discovered after the fact of time.

It would be interesting to compare to crt as the articles do say that old incadescences were safer. Lol

“Serenity now “young grasshopper

No they were not safer. “Older CRT type televisions and monitors used to emit very low energy x-rays.” That’s the reason monitor tubes were made of thick, heavy, leaded glass, which blocks most of the x-rays. CRTs also attracted small amounts of radioactive dust.

I remember these warnings from when I was a child. Mom used them as an excuse to limit our TV time.

Never said was safer. Just more of a curiousity. Like in recent years it seems they like the x-raying more, but i am sure the newer x-ray machines are likely safer then the old from 10+ years ago.

Nice article definitely supports the Simpson’s episode of homer’s eradiated silhouette from his youth in his childhood home. Lol

I didn’t mean to imply you did. I just remembered the old stories and looked up a contemporary source.
