Headstrap like PSVR is “required” to correct edge distortions

I find that the “halo” design of the PSVR headset is not stable on my face, as Aesopfabled mentions. I’ve learned to detest it. I much prefer the DAS style. Stable and comfortable.

I changed the title of the topic because I see there are two differents distorsions. One like a wobble in the center and around, when you look at a tree in far away. And another distortion is only in the edges of the lens.

Moving away from the face the HMD with extra padding is only for the distortion in the edges. For wobble objects you need to adjust the lenses in vertical.

We need to adjust this two then…

I have no problem adjust vertical position with this headstrap https://community.openmr.ai/t/pimax-5k-8k-revolve-headstrap-mod-6-mm-vr-cover-foam-replacement/11759/3

OMG!! Impressive. And the HMD lays over your face? Without pressure?
