Hello there,
i m still looking a way to make headtracking with my headset and psmove, i have three psmove, two controleur and one for the headtracking, but i m still looking how make it works with the psmoveservice.
In fact somethings exist to make it, but works only with RIFTCAT and gogleCard, not for headset like Pimax 4K, so the idea is to create a Pimax driver for OSVR and using osvr to make a headset with tracker, and i don’t knwo how do that, i m still looking how to do that.
because i don’t know how osvr server works and how install it
so information i have for now :
# Adding a New HMD to OSVR
## Introduction
OSVR creates an abstration layer for many types of devices, including HMDs. This means that the same application can run on different HMDs simply by changing the configuration file that the OSVR server processes when it launches. Adding your HMD to OSVR instantly allows your customers to enjoy the OSVR applications. This note explains the key steps in adding an HMD to OSVR. These are:
- Create a display descriptor. This specifies the key attributes of the HMD such as the field of view
- Provide information about distortion. OSVR can apply distortion correction for the HMD. This step is optional.
- Support direct rendering. When used with a supported graphics card, OSVR provides direct rendering support to HMDs and this section discusses how to add this capability to your HMD through OSVR
- Integrate tracking information. Often, HMDs also include peripherals such as an orientation tracker. OSVR passes this information along to applications so they can update the view of the virtual world.
- Verify your HMD is working with OSVR. Ensure that the display is free of distortion and that the tracking is working well.
- Publish your HMD plugin. Release your OSVR plugin to the world so developers and gamers can use your HMD with their OSVR software and games.
## Display integration
To start with OSVR, all you need to get a display going initially is just a "display descriptor" JSON file. You can start with a very simple one—the one for the [OSVR HDK 1.1](https://github.com/OSVR/OSVR-Core/blob/master/apps/displays/OSVR_HDK_1_1.json) is about as simple as they get—and modify it to suit your display.
- [Display descriptor documentation](https://github.com/OSVR/OSVR-JSON-Schemas/blob/master/doc/display_descriptor_schema_v1/Structure%20of%20JSON%20descriptor%20file%20for%20HMDs.md)
- [Display descriptor JSON schema](https://github.com/OSVR/OSVR-JSON-Schemas/blob/master/display_descriptor_schema_v1.json)
- [Existing display descriptors for additional reference](https://github.com/OSVR/OSVR-Core/tree/master/apps/displays)
The only fields you must modify are:

so i continue my search and hope found something
There are several users who have experience using psmove. A couple of note @ISsa & @LukeB
This has been brought up quite a bit on these forums, but no one seems to have made a clear tutorial on how to enable this. I was under the assumption that the service would work with the Pimax 4k, that was the main reason I bought it. I know several mention Nolo as an alternative, and I’m hoping someone can use that software with the psmove service for headtracking.
Discord is the easiest way to communicate over voice, video, and text. Chat, hang out, and stay close with your friends and communities.
Try this link & setup discord its an ap/chat service @ISsa created this group there & has some links for psmove pc setups.
