I got mine from pimax about a month ago and it did come with a comfort kit but no speakers. Iām using the vive head strap with the built in head phones. Also got the knuckle controllers and base stations with it. All was about 1000 dollars. Oh I should add to Alex half life was for free. Very nice head set. Iām glade I decided on this instead of the 8KX.

Unfortunately not, this was a MRTV special edition ^^
I received the Artisan on 28 Januar, no comfort kit and no Power EU Adapterā¦ and no manual included. But I was still glad I got it so early. Ordered directly from Pimax 09.01.2020.
I asked pimax support to send me the original EU power Adapter but they wonātā¦ very sad. I donāt want to open a barrel here, but that will be a lesson to me

And some people said it is better to order on Pimax than on AliExpress?..man I hope this is an isolated case and you have this sorted out by now.

I have had mine for a few months now and Iām glade i decided to buy one. I got mine direct from pimax with no problems. Mine did come with the comfort kit. I might say that is a huge upgrade. That is a must have for any of the pimax head sets. I also used a vive upgrade head strap with built in head phones instead of the strap that came with it.
Any idea when they will be back in stock on pimax site? Would prefer to order bundle and not just headset for ali Express.
They sell like hotcake.

They now comes with the smaller new design boxing with comfort kit just like my 8K+.
The reseller ( the ladie ) at aliexpress give a wonderful sale service and very fast communication.
Pimax should affiliate with them or make them an official reseller just like amazon.

I agree with you about the fast communication but thereās only a certain number of times you are impressed with a very fast response of āitās stuck at the airport and there is nothing we can doā!!!
All the orders sent via epacket postage came back to them lately.
It is not easy at those crazy time.
She finally sent both of my order with UPS.
At the end of march my 8K+ order with Pimax went well to me in Canada but who knows it may be worse now one month later.
iāve buy one the 7 feb, and no sign of my artisan ;-(
What is epacket postage?
Iām going to ask for a refund via Aliexpress as soon as can and then re-order via UPS as this is a joke - they must have known there was no chance of it getting through. If there are a couple of months backlog at the airport can you imagine it - I wouldnāt be surprised if non of if ends up going.
I would just order through pimax themselves, im still waiting on my artisan bundle since purchasing back on the 18th of January. We just need to wait since the world is currently going through a pandemic, if anything you wait for a really good quality headset. I look forward to when i can play beat saber again but not on a CV1 and on an Artisan!

Would Pimax ever consider a voluntary Artisan back-orders, so those with other HMDs can get in line, and possibly get their other accessories as soon as available? I have loved my 4K experience, and the Artisan would not require me to upgrade my 3600x/5700xt hardware immediately to continue and enhance that amazing experience.
However, my want for knuckles or sword controllers is strong, so much so, that being guaranteed delivery of them by a certain competitor, even 8 weeks out, having the ability to press the order button at certain competitorās website, on a competitively specked headset, at a competitive price, with the same delivery grantee, is tempting. I have checked the Pimax website daily, and itās frustrating not even being able to get in line. I even considered ordering a 5k+ and suffering the upgrades needed to power it.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what the wait will be for any of the products ahead of time, and that has stopped me from pulling the trigger. Iām a contractor for NASA, and will only be where I am until July. The risk of being lost in shipping, or arriving here some months later, when I have moved to another site is scary. I love my fellow man, but if I was a someone renting the same place for a vacation (I live in and long term rent a vacation home near the NASA base I work at) and a Pimax 5k kit was tossed on my doorstep, it would be hard not to at least play with it, maybe for a while lol, before returning it to sender.
The website also states some items may be shipped without the others. I wouldnāt mind receiving my controllers and base stations ahead of time. I could at least enjoy them while I wait for my Artisan. I wouldnāt mind receiving my HMD ahead of of controllers either. I would mind receiving a pile of accessories, but no headset, no base station, or controllers. I would also mind nothing shipping until all of it was in the same shipment.
Is there a time-frame for avg controller/base station delivery? Also, longshot, if there is a youtuber who is entirely done with an Artisan, please send me a pm. I will happily buy it for retail.
All my guild mates think I am crazy for even considering Pimax. The loudest one screams about the OQ, I donāt carry my hmd around with me, the other one tells me to just get a official steam product, steam isnāt everything to me. I have told them how much I love my 4k. I want to tell them how much I love my new Pimax.

I really like my 8K too. I like it enough that I bought an 8KX, even knowing the various issues Pimax has as a company. Luckily, I never noticed the distortion, but the SDE and lowish resolution (of the input video signal) do bother me, which is why Iām upgrading.
Based solely on what Iāve read and seen on YouTube, I would say that the Artisan and the 8KX are the 2 headsets that Pimax should concentrate on. The other options just complicate things and make picking a specific model too confusing imo.
Pimax also needs to continue to improve the user experience. Right now, you need to be an enthusiast and devote too much time to setup and tweaking. If you want a āit just worksā headset, there are better choices.
