I finally receive my valve index controllers tomorrow, and I would like to have your feedback on HL Alyx.
How to best configure the game, is the game immediately playable?

You need PP on other then that just play.

What are your PC specs?
In the latest PiTool version they even have an “Alyx” entry on the left. This opens a new screen with two prominent choices: Low settings and high settings (for 2080 and upwards). Depending on your GPU you can choose one of both and that’s it. (I have no clue what this does under the hood. Probably enabling parallel projection and setting certain supersampling settings - and perhaps some special hacks that are not available on the GUI otherwise (as said - no clue)?).
Manually setting parallel projection to on and supersampling etc. as desired should also do the trick though.
So glad I avoided every Alyx spoiler I could. I loved it! Enjoy!

You may want to download and install it as soon as you can.
Why disable dynamic res scaling? Does it particularly not work with Pimax? I thought it was great for maintaining framerate on my HP Reverb and Index.
