Had to choose, I choosen but without knowing what

I mean, they lifted NDA and asked us what do we wanted, according only on testers, what about the spec of the displays?
From a 4k user I can tell you the baddest thing about 4k is the time of response of pixels, beside the FOV  rest are all things you can ā€œget used toā€, like contrast…and SDE is -ok-…
What is worrying me is that the 8k panels are just the same as the 4k with bad timing, blurrying slightly the view and THIS could have make me go 5k.

Iam pretty sure that people are enjoying 5k because of this, the image is still ā€œsharpā€ because its doesnt get blurred by the movement, which give a better feeling, something more present, even at the price of a lower resolution or even details.
You can have 120 htz and fps, if time of response of pixels is too high, it all end in a mess of pixels.

Oh yeah I could have wait and delay the shipping, but right now, we still dont know what are IN those unit.
And to me, when thinking about it, that would be the only thing that matter, not the tests of somebody else, which I thanks for their works of course.

So can we have spec for both devices pretty please? All of them?

Look, we talking about very hi frame rate, 80 or 90 is high.
So 90 times per seconds the image come in, which give 0.011 sec, 11 ms.
11ms for the image to change, so theorically, any pixel response below 11ms for a 90Hz should have time to change color.
And its not, ā€œscreens gamersā€ are 1ms, why, because of the persistence of vision, its helps for a century for movies but for VR and basically evey fast refresh rate it doesnt. Pixels have to change really fast for our eyes dont have time to see them fading.

Interesting. Could this explain some of the blurriness of the 8K and the relative clarity of the 5K+? So not just the upscaler?

I also read or heard that the 5K+ panels are more expensive than the 8K ones and come from (I think) Japan. Perhaps if that is true they have better parameters such as speed, less blur etc.

I just wanna know that the 5k+ can be adjusted to run at even higher refresh rates/fps. That would make me a happy camper. Like 120 fps. I’d be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy. @deletedpimaxrep1 it would make my year  @PimaxSWD @ any other official pimax reps.

@SweViver wanna test out the 5k+ in extended mode and use nvidia control panel to create a custom resolution (don’t change res just raise the refresh rate)? For science
