Get your Hand Tracking Module for 170 JPY (about 1.5USD ish?) at the Japanese Pimax Store!

As in the title.
I must say that’s a sweet deal. Too bad it isn’t available yet. =D
I was watching Pimax Now and wanted to see how the module actually costs.
I’m guessing it’s 17000 JPY and not 170?

JFYI, the Japanese webpage looks… How should I put this? Looks abandoned?
If I successfully uploaded the image, you might want to check the menu on the left side.
It’s from the accessory page.

The below texts are repeating twice.
You can see the 170 yen price tag on the Hand Tracking Model there as well.

価格、低から高 (price low to high)
アルファベット順、A-Z (alphabetical order A-Z)
日付、古いから新しい (old to new)

And I’d say the translations aren’t really that great either.
I clicked the other product pages as well and read the stuff there just out of curiosity,
but you could tell that it’s either a half baked job or a non-native person has done it.
Or maybe the person doesn’t understand the terminology. Maybe all of the three?
I’m not going to point out everything since this post will be a mile long,
but I’ll give some examples that stood out to me.

On the 8K X page, the choice of “Standard Headphone Version”, “Deluxe Headphone version”
are left in English.

8K Plus title says “8K Plus (without MAS)” in English and no explanation on what a “MAS” is.
And there is no “with MAS” choice atm.

5K Plus/5K XR page says headset only but has the Index controllers/lighthouse images,
and if you scroll down, there is an image that says “内容物(フルキット)”
meaning, “Contents - (Full Kit)” along with the full kit image.

(A company called Degica in Japan has the exclusive rights for Valve Index JFYI.)

All headsets pages besides the 8K X has “Choose your bundle” descriptions below the
cart/PayPal button, but they are all in English.

Also, we saw a lot of ”しなぶそく” icons on the accessories page, which means
“low on stock” or more accurately, “scarce in the market”.
If you mean out of stock, it should be “在庫切れ”.

I’m slightly worried that this went online in the first place, to be honest…

Are you sure that’s us at all? I’ll ask around.

I know! That’s what I thought at first. But every time I type in pimax.com, I am redirected to this page.
I’ll screenshot and upload the whole browser below.

I also wonder.
The price of 8kx is about 600$ expensive
The prices of other products have also increased since they became Japanese websites.
Is this page the official website?

I think the price is a bit complicated since the currency isn’t reliable recently and tax is 10% here.

About it being official, I can’t look into the server and I’m no website guru,
so all I know is that I’m redirected even if I type the old www.pimaxvr.com URL.
So if this isn’t their page, that’s… a bit sticky.

Here’s a gif of the redirecting for anyone curious.

If you can be bothered to open youtube, here’s the same clip but more clear.

Hi,

2 weeks have passed but nothing has been fixed on your Japanese website so far.
I see that the US Pimax site has only the Hand Tracking Module and the Comfort Kit out of stock, but the Japanese site has everything on the accessories page as out of stock.
Also, the Eye Tracking Module isn’t listed.

I think It’s clear that nobody is looking after the Japanese website at all.
