We need to see what it looks like through the lens of the Headset.
We want to see that Oculus games work in 200 FOV and with no distortion.

OK, I will inform our team to re-shoot as soon as possible, and upload again today or tomorrow. Thanks
Thank you.
If possible a more popular game such as Robo Recall or Lone Echo, but if not possible Lucky’s Tale is fine again.
thanks, but can you do echo arena? it’s free and much more popular. and PLEASE record through lens
we need is to know if revive works well, with FOV 200 and without distortion, please show a game of oculus in revive through the lens, to clear the doubt…
We will shoot more video according to your needs, and you can subscribe our youtube channel. Thank you
That looks fantastic, thank you @Matthew.Xu
that’s a 360 video that’s also available on the vive
but thanks anyways, would be nice if you try and record an oculus exclusive game!
If you do not want to show a very demanding game of oculus at least show a video of lucky tales such that we know you need to revive to work
So Lucky’s Tale launches but how does it look?
No one is questioning if Revive works but what’s unclear is how Oculus Exclusives appear on the HMD.
it’s not a 360 video, it is fully rendered in real time. It is also available for Vive but watching the video it seems they are loading the Rift version, as requested.
Thanks, Mattew:
My fellow Spanish backers and I thank you for the videos, but we see that they do not finish clearing doubts.
We have the video of “Lucky’s Tale”, which is definitely exclusive to Oculus and certainly uses Revive, but apart from not seeing through the lens, the game fails showing a screen of “Game Failed” nothing reassuring, considering how simple the game is.
The second video, “Invasion”, changes plane when going from the vision of the headset to the vision through the lenses; better to make a continuous recording, right? It also happens that it’s an application that can be seen both on SteamVR and on YouTube in 360º. And it’s not the best demo for the Pimax to show their best brightness and color contrast.
The two videos are also not recorded with a good resolution and appear blurred, since they are 720p.
To finish with the doubts, it would be good to show something in which it’s clear that it’s a Pimax 8K or 5K (I like what you have done at the beginning of the video with Luckey’s Tale) and that, in the same plane, you pass to the lenses, showing some game or demo in operation that is not in SteamVR or in video, and with the highest quality of image that you can get.
Have you tried Echo Arena, Farlands or Henry, that are free? Other games or exclusive demos are Wilson’s Heart or Lone Echo.
If a game or demo doesn’t work, get in touch with Jules Bloke (Cross VR) the creator and developer of Revive, also a member of the OpenXR group; some games may have to be adjusted, but for this Jules should be able to test them.
We will continue to update, things always need to be done one by one. I can promise to collect all the requirements and then ask team to do it. Thank you
