If i set this to 1.5 and launch say Asgards Wrath in Pitool. Will my performance be affected or is this setting ignored?

Check Defector thread. There is a youtuber there that from memory. He uses Oculus & in game quality settings. So at guess like Steam. Oculis’ SS should be effective.

Why not just try it? Set it high and You’ll know for sure…

As far as I remember, the Oculus Supersampling did not affect the Pimax render pipeline. But to be sure, just give it a try and put it to 2.0 or something

yeah ill have to try it, i was hoping someone knew and would save me the trouble.
in game resolution slider makes a visible difference on the pimax but its an oculus game so i’m not sure

Oculus Tray tool dosnt duplicate steamvr app SS so also Pitool. End of story.
Another story is in game SS , this one have impact for performance/quality.
