While the displayport on laptop look making the HMD always show black screen and need to reboot HMD.
Can we use thunderbolt 3 (type c) port convert to display port?

Yes if it is a usb-c that is displayport 1.4 compatible. If your laptop has a good dedicated graphics card. As far as I know rtx cards are ok. Also you need a good adapter as some don’t work.
