Difference in render methods

I gave 1.1.9.2 another try.
The difference in render method from newer versions is huge.
on 1.1.9.2 framerate can dip as low as 20fps before starting to have reprojection problems (when you lose FPS and the screen start flickering) while in 1.2.5.7 it always displays stable 60fps but problems starts at what I estimate being around 55fps.
This allows 1.1.9.2 to push a much higher resolution via supersampling while still being useable.

All in all I find the render method used in 1.1.9.2 much superior, have you devs considered switchign back?

This is exactly what many of us mentioned many times, devs are aware about that but they didn’t stated any comeback.
Maybe the performance (with supersampling) will be better if they add async reprojection to the new render, however i dont really think this is going to convince us to use a version with a worse resolution (base picture quality), so for now 1.1.92 ist must have for any user with high end graphic card, while newer versions are good for people with middle cards.

I only hope they will provide 2 different version with different render but improved compatibility, because 1.1.92 has many small issues as switching mods, oculus home and so on.

Where can i get that driver nothing but issues with mine its new …and had no sound start with then did some reinstalling and have sound only in one head phone now i know head phone works did test swap em around …Its either driver or head set jack

Plus loading up demo and had lots issues with them and Kodi player too either making video really small or bug ridden …

In the top of the piplay 1.2.5x discussion there are download links.

Keep in mind that if your going with 1.1.92 while it has a lot of rendering benefits it can be a chore/dance to get it connected.

Your sound issue though seems odd. I would recommend setting up @PIMAX-Support a skype session with teamviewer
