Critical Process Died crash

Ever since I received my Index bundle, I’ve had trouble pairing controllers, tracking them properly, and now finally my computer is crashing. My computer works perfectly fine in general, when just the headset is turned on, I can sit around in steamVR Home for ages with no issue. Only when I attempt to connect the basestations and controllers, will my compute eventually freeze up, crash, and show a BSOD error for a split second before shutting down completely. I managed to catch a glimpse of the error message. CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Any fix for this?

Have you checked the windows event viewer to get more info on the bsod?

Also please post your specs.

It just has the kernal-power issue where it says windows didn’t shut down properly because it lost power or crashed unexpectedly.

In the event viewer? There should be more info in there. The message your mentioning sounds like just the standard reboot message.

Is all the drivers up to date? (USB)

Hmm… Not sure if he’s around but @Enopho may have some ideas.

How exactly are you connecting the controllers and the basestations?
