Cant upgrade manually

Hi.
My pimax blinks very quickly with the LED, I read that I need to manually update the version, I do everything according to the instructions, but none of the firmware programs see the pimax “PIMAX not found !”
what should I do?

See here: http://community.openmr.ai/t/my-pimax-just-died-after-piplay-update-resolved-t-y-sjefdeklerk/1960/11?u=sjefdeklerk

Alhough then again, I’m assuming that the heavy blinking means you’re in DFU mode already. Did you kill all the services like described here ?

“Remember to kill your piservicestarter.exe, piservice.exe and piserver.exe before running the flasher tool !! Otherwise it won’t work.”

Yes, I killed all processes

are both the HDMI and USB connected ? Maybe you are using some kind of HDMI converter ? Or USB hub ? Try them directly without any converter. You also might want to try another computer.

no hub, no converter.
Tomorrow I’ll try on another pc
At the very beginning, everything worked before the update.

Can you describe how the leds flash ? Very rapidly and it’s mostly white ? That would mean it’s in DFU mode. If it flashes red and green, then it might be in ‘intrusion detection’ mode.

I would say blue and red, white there, but not much, They blink very fast
The PC writes that in the mode of VFD, but there are no drivers

Hmm “DFU in FS mode” I don’t think I’ve seen that before. Did you try the official Pimax flasher tool ? With the official tool it’s very important that there are just regular western characters in the directory name and no spaces. I suggest to just make a directory and name it:

C:\pimax

and then extract the official flasher tool to that directory.

If nothing works maybe @PIMAX-Support can help out

Yes, I tried
thanks for the help, Write support…

I see a space in the directory name. That’s a 100% guarantee it will NOT work.

Rename it to C:\pimax

I tried, without results

Try another computer tomorrow and if it doesn’t work neither, see if @PIMAX-Support has a solution or if not, a way to get the unit replaced.

I adjusted the glasses!
The problem was in the drivers and the software.
Thank you all for your help!

I am having exactly the same issue, what did you do with the drivers/software to rectify the problem?
