Im lost in conflicting information here and or information i cannot find .
we know fov and sde is better we know same input res and ss the 5k is better but what i realy need to know is if the 8k on 1.0 ss or standard/native input res (we know this is 1440p)no tweaking
comparison to vive pro ,samsung oddisy better /worse/same ,if anyone knows this will be helpfull
i tried the 8K at the meetup and would clearly tell you its way better in comparison to the vive pro, even though we had different settings in the software tools. but i’m also pretty sure, that we had PiTool 1.0 and Steam VR 50% (for example in ED) and even though it then didn’t look better than the 5K+ it looked better than my overall remembered experience with the Vive Pro for sure. Also compare the reviews of the three beta testers for that.
thanks its difficult to assimilate whats what with regards to settings as alot of talk regards to the 8k is given at a pitool ss setting 1.5 as im hearing it which isnt working well with some games ,so knowing that its better than the vive pro at 1.0 pitool setting is invaluable to judge its future potential with 2080ti
The reviewers have all said better than vive pro too. Most of the dicussion is about whether 5k+ is better than 8k.
