Best SBS injectors (extended mode) for having 2K

Thanks, would you like to post it again, i’m in so many posts.

I am pretty sure i have been where you are, so you can recover  I’ve not yet had to reinstall windows.

Guys, my advice to protect yourself is to make system image backups before making changes that could cause problems. It provides a reliable way to go back to a working version of the system. I use a 2nd hard drive for the backups and use Acronis TrueImage booted from a USB drive. So far, this has saved me from a bad Nvidia driver update and early on in my testing with PIMAX. I’ve found that it only takes about 10 minutes for the backup and about same for restore. Highly recommend! You could also use the native Windows system image utility if you don’t want to buy Acronis.

@dzeek, that is some good advice. Thank’s I am going to do this, I am spending more time returning to a usable state than playing with the headset.

You’re welcome. I learned this the hard way. Having to reinstall Windows from scratch, then apply updates, then reinstall apps and drivers, etc., was very frustrating and time wasting just to get back to where I was before the problem occurred.

Restauration points can help.

I’ve solved my issue by using ccleaner and delete useless registry keys while updating the graphic driver.
Don’t know which one has been efficient but it works again now.

I tried reshade with raceroom but it seems to me that i need an sbs fx that is not provided.

I tried tridef with rfactor 2.It works but the image is stretched. Without head tracking it gives me nausea.

Have you had a look at viero perception ? Its another free injector. Well supported

If there is no tracking it’s useless, it makes me sick.

i find if i use my mouse to look and i move my head as if i did look it stops me from feeling sick. but i agree with no headtracking its not much fun.
Hopefully some techy type can get the headtracking working in extended mode. this could be a killer headset for fps games.

Thanks for your useful info.

I have the same problem of monitor hide (Oculus drivers). I tried many solutions and only works to restore a old windows point. The next time try pass CCleaner and reinstall Nvidia drivers.

For the inconvenient of head tracking, you can try with freetrack and a system of tracking with a webcam and 3 leds on your head. Some years ago I tried it with a Wii controller (infrared) and 3 infrared leds on a cup, and it’s works great at 120 hz. The Wii controller is 120hz.

This is the great headtracking software:

I tried trackIR and 3 monitors in Live for Speed and works fine. Now i’m trying with Pimax VR and keep looking for the best imagen quality.

I’m very interesting in get work the pimax on rFactor2, i don’t know if it is a good idea.

Sorry about my poor english.

RFactor 2 will have VR support at first quarter 2017.
I think the best idea is to wait. I doubt that you will be able to get support soon except there is a revive patch for it.
