J’ai des résultats mitigés avec Razer Hydra. Je viens d’utiliser le logiciel de Steam. Cependant, après avoir calibré le contrôleur dérive souvent. Alors oui souvent buggy.

You don‘t even have to wait for such crazy deals ($199), because you will sell your Vive anyway in half a year… or maybe a year😇. So buy a Vive for a reasonable price and when the Pimax controllers and basestations arrive sell your Vive a little bit cheaper again. You may lose $50-100, but this is the cheapest way to get a Vive. I would rather do that instead of putting my Pimax on a shelf and watching it collecting dust

I’ve been testing it for the past day sans controllers and lighthouses. It seems to work well. However, I’ve definitely seen some- drift? Let’s say horizontal drift. At the same time, I am getting hellacious nausea. I had the Vive before and didn’t have issues with nausea, so I’m going to guess that these two observations are linked. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? I mean, the nausea develops pretty rapidly for both my wife and myself and takes a long time to fade.

I would guess the gyro drift is the source of your nausea. If you have already used VR in a proper 6dof tracking setup and aren’t affected, you should be ok when you get base stations. Looks like you may have to back off until then.
Personally. I grabbed a used Vive months ago (Oculus here) just to avoid 3dof and gyro drift.

@mytemplo Hey mate! The controllers and base stations are soon to be released, but no official date is set as of today. The team will inform us once the accessories goes live for all backers, pre orders etc.
But I assume you received your Pimax headset long ago?

Hi Sweviver, Yes indeed I received my headphones, but I galley like many others for its stability with pitool, despite a very good configuration of my PC. I hate that everything is back in order. Thank you for your answer and we will again and again wait. Fabrice.

It’s hard to stay positive and upbeat when pimax has left us all in the dark completely. I sure hope some solid good news drops “soon” !!
