I am using my X with the On ear KSC 75, very cheap (20 Dollars) and a good sound (like the speaker of the DAS). There is a ear clip for your ears, very confortable, after a few minutes the speakers “disappears” due their light weight.

Nice mod! I see you cut the ring slightly, but I’m sure that’ll sound way better than the KDMAS ever will.

Nice mod, but for those of us who care about higher frequencies, these charts look much worse than the SMAS or DMAS.
I have the 8KX a few days now and have been trying trying different headphones due to the monstrous epic audio solution fail the default ones deliver. (i can’t express this hard enough, how bad these are. Its like holding simple earplugs like 6-10 cm or 3-4 inches away from your ear and have the volume at 30%)
Anyway. I want a fat sound and found good comfort with wearing either AKG K712 (The Headband goes between the frontpice and the default speakers of the headset and it sits really tight on the headset and on the ears and the sound is, well its AKG 712 like. Just great.
The second solution is Wireless Arctis pro, and with these the headband goes behind the default speakers. And it also sits very comfortably and delivers awesome sound too. Even better for Games imho, since the AKG is more of a studio headphone and the Arctis Pro has very good equalizer options, is more closed and is wireless.
But i wouldn’t do a boxing VR experience. For those i would recommend a fixed in ear solution. But for Beat Saber its just great.
