Can you please find that post? The 5k plus was never part of the official kickstarter. Originally it was the 5k meaning the 5k plus isnt technically part of the kickstarter deal.
5k+ is an improved version, there is no normal 5k
And the 5k aka 5k+ was meant to be kickstarter limited.
So be happy you can get one for the money you cause its because of the backers

You’re right i’m not talking about those with missing info as that is going to have to be a person a pimax manually contacting all of them at some point.

Yes and the price im paying is dishing out more $$$. I wish all backers get their headset. It not my fault pimax contacted me and said hey we are going to ship your headset in 8 days. Blame pimax for this lol

Yeh but why even email preorderer in the first place. They added a dumb timer saying first batch will ship. They sent emails saying first preorder will ship on the 25th.
Lol they told me mine,was in uk warehouse 21 days ago there just trying to stop you hasstling them in 8 days they wont care as there of for 2 weeks lol

Cynicism you are a perfect example of what is wrong with the world today. Liberal to the bone and attempting to force your views to get your way.
These headsets are two different builds and two different products.
This is very simple. If a auto manufacturer sells cars and trucks, and there are parts that they have to wait on to finish building the trucks, they don’t make everybody that ordered a car wait for the parts to show up and the trucks to be finished.

Yes im scratching my head why is this an issue for him. They haulted the 8k production due to insufficient parts. In no way the 5k preorder has caused this or delayed the 8k backers headset.
Thank for contributing to the conversation with an ad hominem attack very informative. And to everyone else no it’s not about them being different models it has got to do with the fact that I and all KS backers should get their headsets before preorders. You would feel the same if tomorrow full retail sales started shipping while you wait for your preorder.
And I would be lenient with the lack of parts but they decided to not tell us until well after they realized they were short.
Actually I would just cancel my preorder and purchace one via retail lol. What you want is the perfect world for you at the cost of others happiness. There are avenues to get what you want without affecting others but it comes with both pros and cons. You can get a 8k off eBay right now if you want to pay some extra to get it.
Notice the emblem next to my name. I have a 8k. Have had it since early December. I have also pre ordered a 5k plus.
