That’s my experience anyway, perhaps an old firmware had that issue and I didn’t try it.
Will see what the 8KX does in comparison, should arrive by tomorrow evening.

Yes I did hold it for few seconds. Just pressing it, I don’t remember, maybe it goes to red state immediately. Holding for few seconds indeed turns it off (light goes off) but this lasts only 1-2 seconds and comes on again.

I have the same problem. I can make the 8KX enter stand-by, but I can’t turn it off with the power button.

Have created a ticket for the thick foam the day I originally posted JFYI.
And the thick foam and the eye-tracking module arrived today. YAY!
Don’t have an RTX. Double YAY!
Only if 3080s would be regularly available in the market…

yes please do, I wear glasses and had to do a makeshift mod to get a decent fit. waiting for the thick foam too.

I need a thick foam for my wife to use it as well. I thought it came with thick and thin foams, that’s what it advertised as.
Do you just create a support ticket to receive the missing foam then?

I received a thick foam today along with my eye tracking module.
Two days ago I received my 8KX with a sleeve and hand tracking module.
