My Pimax Loaner unit came with a few defects and I am sure plenty of other backers have had to RMA their headsets for various reasons.
Pimax please dont screw this up. I am an 8KX backer and I am willing to opt for the ruggised edition just so I get my headset checked out before its sent.
You are in the realm of prosumers now and charging over 1,000 $ I wish you guys the best as usual but please for the love of VR do it right the first time.
They already stated in the past that they put a lot of engineering force in straightening the quality assurance problems, it should be addressed by now…
Hmmm. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Personally, I like the blocky angular aesthetic which Pimax chose to use. If only the plastic was a bit more sturdy (and not subject to cracking), I’d be completely satisfied.

I also don’t mine the blocky angular aesthetic which Pimax chose to use, I just don’t think the joint between the back case and the front case looks very professional. It also has that bad ripple on the front housing.

Its waste of your time , I guess its not break completly to the level that you see wires and circuit board , do RMA once per year and live with inperfection.
