I tried this method and you know, it even makes them work normally! Hi guys, just to give an update.
It finally worked with NOLO. It is difficult to remember what happened with the 4K, but after downgrading, it worked at some point.

but at the moment the best solution is to install the latest version firmware of NoloVR and Pitool 129

I cannot say for the 4K as I am not using it anymore. I am using the 5K, and indeed it works with the latest NOLO and PIMAX driver, with a little tweak (I have to unplug and replug the NOLO headset marker each time I restart the computer), but I have posted this in NOLO forum as it is more relevevant to NOLO.
