That’s a side effect that I’ve seen on occasion (standard 1080 with dp 1.4). Unsure if its due to booting whilst headset is on but I find a HMD restart or reboot again can clear it.

I am not sure if it is caused by the converter, did you notice any flickering?

not whole image flickering, but many light dots flickering.
check if you can get flawless 90Hz and 90fps in simple scenes, if does, means the bandwidth is enough. Then it may be the quality of your adapter or something else.

Could be that you have one of the faulty Pimax cables, you should try reseating it first before asking for a replacement.
