Thanks, I got your PM. The thing is I’m not with FedEx. I bought mine through the Pimax Aliexpress store (the only place you could/can buy one but 99% sure it’s still actually Pimax you are buying from).
The postage options I had were Standard shipping (20-40 days estimate) and then for £20 more EMS (7-15 days estimate) and then for another £25 DHL (again 7-15 days estimate). So I chose EMS which I think is express but using the national postage service in all countries it goes through!
So my tracking is limited to the standard international tracking system. Which doesn’t update unless your parcel actually moves I believe!
Sorry - I didn’t mean to torment you all that time with the Fedex tracking - I didn’t read the original message properly ! I have a floor to finish tiling so the late delivery will probably result in good karma for me anyway!
It was the saMe for my FedEx package, but living in Germany that made more sense. Also it’s been in the lock down phase, just a bit before you package.
I press my thumbs it gets to you fast, I enjoy the new 8k+!
A (not) Christmas miracle ! Three weeks (Pimax) door to mine (London). It’s not exactly a great achievement for FEDEX on a 3 day shipping service (currently forecasting a 2-3 business day delay) but hey ho.
I can feel I’m starting to lose my rag with Aliexpress. The headset has been sitting there for 2 and half week now apparently ‘exported to UK’ with not a single bit more information. I’ve just contacted the sellers (assuming Pimax) via Aliexpress and they say calmly they have extended the shipping time by another month!!!
Currently the shipping is a mess.
I have orders in Aliexpress from January (just before the CNY) that I haven’t received yet.
Heck, even inside Europe the shipping is very slow rn. Took 3 weeks to receive a parcel from Germany.
I know this might sound naive now but when choosing posting options Aliexpress had exactly the same expected shipping times (7-15 days) as UPS but UPS was an extra £30. If they had at least a warning on the normal shipping times then I would have gone UPS which I understand to be working sort of OK now (relatively).
