8k lag in controller tracking, world scale off

I just recieved my 8k yesterday, luckily didn’t have any setup issues others seemed to have, however, I have noticed 2 main issues:

  1. world scale is a little off, everything is a bit too large. Unsure if this needs to be fixed in pitool or in steamvr

  2. controller tracking is a bit laggy and not smooth. This is most notable in games like kantanaX, where the knife doesn’t’ track well when you move the controller fast

Has anyone else had these problems/found solutions?

Congrats on receiving. Unfortunately I am stuck on seated experiemces.

Tracking is laggy with smoothing on. Try turning it off.

The world scale is a problem only a few have. And then out of those few only a few notice. I had it then after I did these two things it went. And now scale is normal. Sorry I couldn’t confirm or replicate the large world scale to troubleshoot why mine fixed. Anyway here are the two things I did that I know for sure I could be forgetting something but I don’t think so.

  1. Upgraded to version 111 beta pitool. Second I plugged in my mates pimax to the same ports tested it quickly and plugged mine back in. Good luck
