could we get a few comparison pictures through the lense for the 3 pimax HMDs?
preferably just a desktop from virtual desktop, while the headset rests on the table, so there is no movement at all.
i do have a rift, but i havent touched it since i got my 4k 1.5years ago so thats pretty much my only comparison option.
im scared of the somewhat fuzzy upscaling of the 8k and equaly scared of the SDE on the 5k+, im hoping a direct comparison to the 4k could help me make a decision…

4k might be difficult as none of the 3 have the 4k.
Now with camera specs & settings might be able to create one ourselves by taking the dame photo on the 4k with same/similar spec camera & same settings.
I am willing to lend my 4K to any of the 3 “musketeers”, if they want (and cover the mailing expenses, I’m from Europe too so won’t be too much I guess).

I believe that SDE of 4k is the same of 8k and better than 5k+

thnx for that comparison, realy helped! now i also get why people are so hyped about the 5k+ SDE, it is realy close to the 4k which is realy nice!
since i know how good an upscaler can be from the 4k and it is just a matter of time until they get that software/firmware dialed in, ill stick with the 8k… i think… i just checked and im backer 4thousandsomething, which means i got loads of time to make up my mind…
