I have a couple things I’d like to ask and possibly give my opinion to on how your setup will be for CES. First I’d like to ask what your computer specs will be on your demo? I think everyone here can agree that having the best hardware will allow everyone to agree that it’s not the PC holding back the headset. That way you will receive great feedback directly towards the headset. Second, if anyway this would be possible, where you are having issues maintaining a close frequency trying to achieve 90hz, have a second demo setup with either a Vive or Rift. I believe this will help people decide if you were to allow the headset to be shipped before getting to 90 it won’t hurt the experience or it might. Right after you have demoed the Pimax 8K offer the user to try out the Vive/Rift in order to have a direct comparison. This will allow them to judge the frequency, Fov, tracking, etc…
The audience you will have here are very critical, you’ve experienced this with last year’s CES. This will be the biggest push towards the public, you have such an opportunity to grab the market for high-end VR. I fully understand and respect that you have delayed the headset, I myself have backed the 8K. I can’t wait for more info to come, along with getting the headset in hand. Also, please don’t forget to update the Kickstarter. Not everyone follows the forums and this info about the delay should be mentioned. Thanks!
