An extra $50,000 or $100,000 every now and then will see them burn through 4.5 million very quickly

You must understand the concern of the sponsors.
On the one hand we want the highest possible quality
but the wait is also very long;)
We trust in the Pimax team, with more information and images of the progress etc … it would make the wait better.
@deletedpimaxrep1, Will the 200 “early birds” get the 8K headset earlier than the rest? originally early birds would get in januari while the rest would get a month later. So when the Pimax 8K’s are ready you will ship them first to all the early birds?
Hi @deletedpimaxrep1, first of all, thanks for the update! Although it wasn’t what people were hoping to hear, in the end it’s better for everyone if we know where we stand. What I now don’t understand though is this whole beta testing idea. I mean when you’re still refining lenses and testing new optics, why would you want to plan a beta test now? Wouldn’t it be better to wait until Pimax is happy with the optics themselves?

We plan to ship based on the order of the backer number.

Testers can prepare in advance so when M1 are ready we can start shipping right away.

Is it possible to show your current design with the current lenses…? and is it possible to send these current headsets to maybe 3-4 of the testers just so they have something to compare to when they get the new M1 units…?

Hi @deletedpimaxrep1 ,very good to talk to you ,if problem exit in m1 that consumer will not notice would it be frugal to work out fixing these in background while shipping to consumers , and update when solved (i am only suggesting an open poll want or wait ,if minner problems consumer should not notice as mentioned earlyer with lenses)thankyou regards GARY

Thank you for the status update, there is no software on the VR market right now that demands our immediate attention and you release schedule falls nicely in line with the new series of video cards from Nvidia. The timing right now for the release schedule is good for consumers.
You have around 5000 to 6000 orders on the Pimax 8k, how many weeks do you believe the production line will take to fill this quantity? Will you be assigning hardware by bulk shipping consignments to various countries or each unit mailed individually?
Also I see you have been answering questions for the last 11 hours Xunshu, please go sleep 
my backer number is something between 210 and 220 but i chose the complete set (early bird). i think in the last Kickstarter survey i chose to get everything together. now after this delay i would prefer to get my headset asap. i already bought a 1080 Ti in December because i thought i will need it^^
i hope to get my pimax 8k in june.
