So the new Pimax 8k “Vision” model was presented in Tokyo but Pimax is keeping quite here. Sweviver has been leaking some info to his paying patreon subscribers, so selling info for money but here everything official from Pimax is dead quite. This communication really couldn’t get any worse.

Several people had leaked the target date a couple of weeks ago. A key to the future will be preventing that sort of thing.
On the question about why we don’t announce individual ship dates for items is because there are a lot of interconnection points between them and some of the programs we plan to offer. The reasoning (whether you agree with it or not) will be clear once we reveal the plans. (and I’ll be around to explain further and add more detail).

Nah he leaked some time ago to his paying Patreon subscribers that several new models will be presented at this event in Florida. But now we already know two of the models, the “8k Vision” with full RGB panels and then there’s of course the 8k-X. Although Pimax is trying to build up suspense they failed miserably.

To be a bit serious though, I understand the delay because of force majeure.
But not providing a new date just makes everything look unprofessional and that everything is handled on a firefighting basis.

So nothing we have been waiting for is ready…there’s still a lot of interconnection points. And programs we plan to offer? I’d like to know how any ‘program’ has anything to do with delivering controllers, base stations and audio headstrap. They’ve conjured up another distraction and excuse to not deliver anything.

But no, we are forced to be here everyday playing these pimax games, hearing excuses, waiting for any sign of a proper update and only getting delays
