@mirage335 Faster speed is definitely planned, but I think running is very challenging, because the impact force is significant and there are safety concerns. I think a fast Walk/ Jogging speed will be great. There will be a option to scale speed in-game so you could make yourself go faster in VR.

everything is 3D printed expect for the obvious bolts/motors/electronics etc

Honestly, I’m all for safety, but this is one case where safety is not paramount.
I am not convinced speed scaling is the best approach at less than ‘superhuman’ speed. A deficiency with Onward/PavlovVR right now is the lack of precision in footstep control. It would definitely be nice to just run at full sprint.
If I have to take some extra precautions, I can get floor mats and such.
