Varjo vr 3 for prosumers?

Very interesting headset. Price is geting lower (3195 $ + subs) FOV 115 horiontaly and impresive panels. Anyone ? :slight_smile: @NextGenVR @Djonko @?

Anything less then 140 FOV is no go for me.:sunglasses:

So just a touch wider than Index; way to low fov to be taken serious imho at those prices. :laughing:

I think the biggest issue for this headset is that you need content in ultra high resolution which is barely available. There are some demos that i read about, one in a supermarket that supposedly is mind blowingly realistic. But I wonder how much difference it makes with the g2 for example in gaming

Fully agree. They call it “bionic” but only focus on a specific part of the “bionic” requirements. FOV (up to 210°) is a major issue for me. Focus on sharp vision is the unique and valuable part of Varjo.
Even if they focus on 3D military usage such as pilot training or specific 3D related development, they miss the wide FOV as mandatory part of natural human sight.
Combine Varjo with sharp sight part and PIMAX with wide FOV, that would be my next headset.

For that price and you still need to buy Base Stations, Controllers, etc … too much IMHO.
