Some Very High Resolution Stereo 3D 360 degree Ansel shots that I took in Battlefront 2

Links are up@xunshu

They are Jpeg’s from 30 megs to 150 megs in size.

I thought they would be good for Pimax to show off the 8k’s potential for full resolution in videos or at shows. It will show how good it could look in the future.

One image is 8000x8000 and the other is 15000x15000, and they are 360 stereo, so it should show off the potential for extreme longevity.

Maybe @SweViver can give these a look if he has access to a unit?

Let me know @deletedpimaxrep1 or send me an email link so I can send them to you.

Here are two, my upload speed is very slow. @PimaxVR please make a through lens video in 4k with these, or let us know how they look.

I have uploaded 2 NEW photos Links below taken at the same time with the same resolution, (shots are identical) except one is a monoscopic 360 photo, and the other is a Stereoscopic 360 photo.

Let me know if you can see any depth in the monoscopic pic, or if the difference is hugely noticeable in your HMD between the two. @Heliosurge @neal_white_iii @Neoskynet @SweViver @mixedrealityTV @Davobkk @VoodooDE

After seeing @SweViver’s video of the Pimax 5K+ performance on the 1070, and seeing @mixedrealityTV’s reaction to the perceived drop in quality, I want to see if maybe an image that is not rendered in stereo looks bad in the HMD. A 1070 can easily do 4k gaming at reasonable settings as long as you are not asking it for stereo 3D.

Wow this could be priceless ! Im sure you could just upload them at zippy share (easy to download) or Google Drive.

Thanks.

Anyone check them out yet?

It’s hard not to have great expectations when you look at these! So pumped to get my 8K Full Package @deletedpimaxrep1
As long as it’s before the end of the year and works like a charm I’ll be happy.

Yeah, they look great on my rift, and I changed the capture settings in Ansel to get insane resolution. I wanna know what they look like on the 8k.

@mixedrealityTV @VoodooDE @SweViver did you get a chance to check these 360 photos I made on the M1? Might be good to see how it will do when it is given a very high resolution source.

Can someone please try these on the 5k+ VS the 8K? @SweViver @mixedrealityTV @VoodooDE @Neoskynet

I tried lots of vidplayers but have no clue which software works best in VR for photos, especially when attempting an 8000 res, any suggestions?

I was able to open each of them in Oculus 360 photos.

How does the resolution seem on them? Clear across the whole view?
