Piplay have already supported the Extend mode on Windows 10, and 10 series (10xx) video card can use the Direct Mode now!
Attention:
Laptop user can use the Extend mode only.
If you haven’t close your integrated Video card, use the Direct Mode is not be recommended.
Please connect to the Independent video card WITHOUT Extension Cable.
Piplay
About the LED light
Extend mode:
When the green LED light is on, it means no signal in HDMI cable. Please check if the HDMI cable is connected to the Independent video card WITHOUT any Extension Cable or commutator. When the blue LED light is on, it means the screen is working. (maybe the screen is black too, but it is working). And then you can use your Piplay to play it now.
Direct Mode:
When you exit your games, the LED light is red. When you exit your games and standby it, the LED light is red. This 2 colors are normal.
You can’t see anything on the screen when the game is closed in Direct Mode until your game is opened.
Extend Mode’s Keyboard Shortcuts
Shift+ Win+ Left(Right): You can switch your file to the other screen quickly.
Alt+ Enter: Full screen
Alt+Table: Please click it when you can’t see your pointer.
About the Video Card Drives
New version’s video card drives is not supporting old version’s Direct Mode.
1.Non 10 series NVIDIA users:
Extend mode’s games and Direct Mode’s games are supported on Steam when your video card drives’ version is over than 362.00. Direct Mode’s game, old version’s Extend mode’s games and old version’s Direct Mode’s games on Steam are supported when your video card’s version is during 358.00 to 362.00.
2 . 10 series NVIDIA
users:
Please install the newest video card drives. The Extend mode’s games and Direct Mode’s games on Steam are supported on Steam.
3.AMD video card users:
Please install the newest video card drives.
Some Integrated video card users can not connect the Pimax after they installed PiNF dives. Please uninstall PiNF, restart the computer and install the newest PiPlay.
Question 1: My Video Card is not very good, Piplay can not find my Pimax in Extend mode.
Reason: Your PC does not be set in Extend mode.
Solutions:
1.Close the Piplay. Right-click on desktop, choose resolution (display settings), Multiple displays, extend these displays, set the Orientation to Landscape, set the resolution of Piplay to Recommended.
2.If you can not save it, please re-install your video card drives. If you can’t do it yet, maybe the video card drives is broken, we suggest u to re-install your windows.
3.If you are the AMD video card user, please update to the newest drives on AMD website.
4.If you are the Nvidia video card user, please make sure your drives version is lower then 362.00. Please use Clear installation to install it. 10 sense’s user, please update your drives to the newest version.
Question 2: Where’s my Pimax?
Reasons:
- Have not connect to the independent video card’s HDMI.
- AMD video card drives version is too low.
- Maybe you have more than 1 os systems, or your Piplay is killed by Anti-virus software.
4.Video card’s type is too low to install the Piplay.
5.If you can’t solve your problem yet, maybe your PC is lack of some operating component.
Solutions:
1.Please connect your Pimax’s HDMI cable into the independent video card.
2.Please update your AMD drives to the newest version if you are using the AMD video card.
3.Please close the Anti-virus software, re-install Piplay to C Local Disk.
4.Change a new video card.
5.Fix your windows, or re-install your windows.
Question3: I can not see my icon on my desktop.
Reason: It is in your Pimax
Solution: Move your pointer into your monitor, and right-click your muse, choose resolution(display settings), choose your monitor, and choose: make this my main display.
Question 4:.When I start my game, I see half of it is in my monitor, half of it is in my Piplay.
Reason: The screen is in the middle of your Pimax when you open your game. But if it don’t, maybe your resolution is not the best resolution.
Solution: Please use your pointer to drag your game into Pimax, and click Maximize (ALT+Enter).
Question 5: I can’t see my icons when I restart my PC in Extend mode。
Reason: It is in your Pimax
Solution:
Move your pointer into your monitor, and right-click your muse, choose resolution(display settings), choose your monitor, and choose: make this my main display.

Question: Device not detected
Solutions:
1.Please check your PC if it is in Extend Mode and connected to Pimax successfully.
2.Please check your Pimax is opened and the LED light is blue.
