The screws supplied with the hand tracking module are only long enough to permit it to fit to the base of the 8KX without the silicone cover in place.
Short of finding two longer screws, I’ve got to take a scalpel to the silicone and cut away all the material which would otherwise be sandwiched between the hand tracker and the base of the headset.
Bit of a design oversight…
