They have a sponsor number much higher than me.
Example
I have the № 14X (Full Pack 8K Early Bird) delivery in February
And it is not possible for sponsors who have like # 5000 to say an example of sponsor and give them delivery in January.
And sponsors with lower number as it is my case because it is delivered later.
Pimax has already confirmed that the number of shipments will be by order (sponsor number)

how many units will be available in the first shipment of the Full Pack 8K package?
I haven’t heard anything yet, and don’t expect too.
It is the weekend after all.
And I wouldn’t expect anything at all on delivery dates really until after the survey.
Only delivery dates I have seen where those under each pledge option.
Personally I am backer 4473 or something and I pledged for the “first 8k ever”, as in just the HMD, no base stattions, controllers etc etc.
Works fine for me since I already have the Vive and it’s peripherals.
This does have a stamp of “expected delivery in January” but I’m taking this with a grain of salt.
Although I sort of hope\wish that the February delivery is due to the base stations and controllers need more time.
If you are no 14x you will be one of the first people to receive a headset. When they send you the survey you need to specify you want the headset only first because the base stations and controllers will slow down delivery if you wait for the full package to be delivered
Dude they still need to work on v4 and maybe v5.
And then start producing…really use brain a bit…
Maybe if you ask in 1 month and half even pimax knows more, but i dont think pimax can look in the future, there are still some issues to be fixed…COMMON SENSE

Pimax has already weighed in many times. Shipping starts in Jan for 8k headsets. Pimax has always known about the hardware development pathway/plan and despite knowing all the versions still have stated January shipping. Unless they come out at state otherwise you should take that as the month shipping will begin. It is pretty one sided to say “go bowl” they will tell you when they want to. They have already made that commitment and it will be on them to notify of any delays… and they have not up to now
