[RESOLVED] Was error 10500 is now 10937 "disconnected"

  1. I used my PimaxVR in the morning.

  2. 10+ hrs later I used GEForce experience to update my NVidia drivers. My computer was interrupted with a blue screen. I rebooted.

  3. When computer came back on Pimax 5k+ gives me red light on headset. No visuals inside.

  4. PiTools all items as grayed out. All with “disconnected” below. Reports error 10500

  5. I turn off all power management for USB connections (changed to “always on”), turned on USB connections for my NVidia too

  6. Stop/start PiServiceLauncher but PiTools still only shows all gray

  7. Reboot again after those USB changes now getting 10937 instead of 10500

Notes:
Whenever I turn my headset on/off the computer gives the audible acknowledgement for new hardward/disconnect hardware.

I can’t find error 10937 on the Internet anywhere. Help!

UPDATE:
Support explained the error was the DP wasn’t getting a signal

  • installed graphics driver throguh NVidia’s GEForce experience as “fresh” but didn’t do the trick

  • manually removed driver through Device Manager

  • installed latest PitTool from http://piplay.pimaxvr.com/PiToolSetup_1.0.1.249_R255.exe

  • then powercycled the Pimax from the power outlet (unplug/replugged)

  • and it worked again

I have disconnected the cables from the back of my NVidia & get hardware connect/disconnect noises

I have held down all 3 buttons on my headset to get it to reset (lights turned white) but still same result after reboot

help!

If the headset was working prior to your BSoD during Geforce update. Try a clean install of your Nvidia Driver.

Please post your system config & pitool version.

Correction. The error was 10537.
Does that mean anything to anyone? I can’t find any info on it.

Did the “clean install” from GE Force. No change still. I get the audible “connect” sound but light remains red & no image inside.

Got a message back from Pimax support for 10937: They said it meant the HMD didn’t get the correct signal from the DP (display port). They also said for me to remove graphics driver, reinstall, then reinstall PiTool from http://piplay.pimaxvr.com/PiToolSetup_1.0.1.249_R255.exe

Trying that. Don’t know why the graphic driver install didn’t correct it previously. Let’s see…
