Question about 8kx with Deluxe MAS

I ordered 8kx with DMAS.

Pimax has not provided any information about it, just 6 weeks delay.

So, will I get 8kx 6 weeks later than those who ordered a Standard MAS?
Or will I receive 8kx with Standard MAS first, then an extra module?

Same case for me, I think (and hope…) we’ll receive the 8KX with elastic strap first, and the DMAS when available.

Yes, we will first ship the 8KX with standard strap. We need to confirm with the team whether they are manage to send it with the MAS without audio parts.

I think i recall them saying the headphones for the deluxe MAS would be shipped when it is ready later as the audio is a replacable part.

Thats the information I have got in the past as well. But let me double check.

First, we need to confirm on the delivery date for your 8KX. If the lead time is close with the DMAS, we are going to ship it together. If it is weeks later, we will ship the 8KX before the DMAS.

You mean that if DMAS is delayed, I will only get 8kx with standard strap not MAS.

MAS is a modular, I want to receive MAS even if there are no audio parts.
And when the audio parts are ready, just send it please.

I am all for 8kX+MAS without audio parts if it can be sent earlier! Then we could try it with our own sets of headphones and having more time to choose between Pimax audio solutions (deluxe or standard).

Pimax 8K X without MAS does not exist

You cannot make a choice between standard and Deluxe audio

All will have MAS (with standard audio) at home

and all could buy Deluxe audio adding it to the MAS

If they are preparing a Pimax day 3 , I believe there are good news

about pimax 8K X, Mas and Deluxe audio

I would like to change from 8kX to 8kX+DMAS if it is the case.

You should contact Support at the main pimaxvr.com site. (The link is on the top-right.) I was able to upgrade my 8KX to a DMAS for $100 US. Since they haven’t started shipping, you should be able to change your order.

I was asking because I wanted my 8kX as soon as possible and not delayed because of the DMAS. But since I’m not an early KS 8kX backer and bought through upgrade plan, maybe the time they will ship my unit DMAS will already be ready.

Hi Neal. I have just been informed by Dorris you can no longer upgrade at this time. I will be contacted at point of dispatch of my 8KX to upgrade if it’s available at that time.
