And none of my complaints are about things going wrong with supplies, quality or the time taken. When you focus on disputing what I don’t say, it kinda seems you don’t have a way to dispute what I do say.
If you think Pimax has been open and honest in communication and respectful of backers in their dealings then we definitely see things very differently.

And where were Pimax going to ship them, without asking first?

They confirmed the address about a month ago.

Today or tomorrow it commented that it would be the shipment of the lot of 84.

For the moment… We still do not receive the tracking number.

My self been from the start for better communication between the creator and the backers must admit that Pimax is like any other company. Sometime they improve like giving the full and detail schedule of production but most of the time they are like other cie. We tend to associate this has a personal relation even more for a small enterprise like Pimax but in fact it’s not the case.

if I would to boycott any company that lie, exaggerate, break deals or take their interest before mine sometimes I would not buy anything from LG, Samsung, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, Ford, Tesla, HTC, Sony, Xerox, Adobe, Epson, Canon, Panasonic, Nvidia, Intel, Bombardier ( if I had enough money :wink: ) and so one.

Certainly your choice may even be good for the environment but sadly this limits greatly your future purchases :astonished:

Just saying…

I really feel like stating “lies” is really unfair and over the top. I really believe that, at worst, Pimax’s estimates are just overconfident. But I also think that the person giving out those estimates really does believe they’re going to reach them. That is, based on the info they have at the time. And that is, without calculating in potential delays and assuming everything goes to plan.

But of course in reality you have to account for good old Murphy’s law. So Robin’s prediction at the Berlin meetup saying that most backers would have their headset by christmas, with a 90% chance, well I’m sure he believed that. Unfortunately for everyone, unexpected problems arised, in part with their external suppliers… it sucks for everyone but it’s just reality :confused:

Overoptimistic , I absolutely agree , I don’t expect my headset before some pre-orders have got theirs though .
Seems like disorganization at Pimax to me , The boss makes a delivery statement not actually realizing how improbable the dates are , possibly not aware of warnings from some suppliers that there could be delivery issues .

When the goods are sent out, you can receive tracking number by mail. November 11th is China’s Shopping Festival, many warehouses have been overloaded. Now the whole country is distributing the goods, we have pushing logistics partner all day, and they promise to deliver tonight. Tracking number will be sent it tomorrow. thank you

Hey Matthew. Are you just testing this logistics partner?

Do you have other options you might use in the future like DHL, Fedex?

When I pledged for the 8K I paid the price for quality expedited shipping

Sounds like this Logistics partner your using is causing you more trouble than good

All the logistic brands, including DHL and Fedex, are quite busy now due to large demand caused by the 11.11 shopping festival here.

This goes back to the 90hz refresh rate “incident” and other overconfident estimates. Some peoples irk more easily now. But It’s been only about 1 years since the end of the KS campaign and the goods keep going out so in itself this is a success…

Personally I think they deserved a break, just wait and by patient

197 units have shipped so far? I’m a backer in the 80’s, should I be concerned about something gone wrong?
