I’m getting confused about the pitool versions. I’m running the pitool version V 1.0.2.087 with the Pimax Experience 0.84.0.0. Now there is a new version of pitool 1.0.1.268 with the new firmware update R270. Now, I like the new Pimax Experience and I have the 5K plus headset which works great with the new Pimax Experience. Now, would I be downgrading to go to the new version and it says I have to reinstall the Pimax Experience. Can someone explain to me what to do because I want to keep things up-to-date. You guys need to clarify which version you gonna have as standard, thank you.

I’m running PE 2.087 until PiTools and PE are on the same page and we can update both with one updater. Using the 8K+ and I love the way games look and how the software works now.

268 is the newest release. You will need to either backup pihome directory or reinstall PE 0.84 as the new pitool release is not bundled with PE.
Pimax has been apprised they need to come up with a better release method. Ie odd numbers being internal and released betas with Even being official Releases though no word on if they will go this way. As with that basic method people could opt in for Odds or stick with Evens via a setting in Pitool.
