There were many complains about lacking ability to achieve both eye focus at once in middle of screen (in center). Some people assumed it could be to wrongly assembled HMDs (one of the cases) where one lense is shifted more than onother.
So if you will change mechical IPD the error in alignment will be kept, if you will change software IPD in one eye error will become less while in ahother eye it will become bigger.
So it’s logical assumption that if we will have experimenal feature to unlock symmetric IPD horisontal software affset change (the same as for colours) then we will be able to achieve better results & it should be really minor update as everything already implemented we just need to add 2nd scale & checkbox to lock/unlock it.
Please let software developers know about this need.
