Light fields are indeed coming. Thermal elctroinversion is cheap and easy to implement.

Yes a borderless VR experience where the entire human field of view is cover would be the ultimate immersion of VR and I’d pay big bucks for it.

For me the lenses need to be improved so we have a clear image everywhere.
Next is going up to 120Hz in native 4k per eye. Entirely possible with the current Pimax screen the cable just needs to be dp2.0
After that is 8k per eye, this should bring the headset to the magical 60ppd and will match the Varjo but not just in the centre.
Oh man how I loved the Varjo. Tried it a couple of times and it is truly insane. I’m in love with that headset.
Hey all that sounds nice. You know what I wish Pimax would do next…send me my headset I paid for over a year ago.
