The headset was running fine for about a month and then one day it just became super choppy to view. When playing games the computer monitor shows the game running at a good framerate, and everything looks smooth, yet when I put on the headset, the view is extremely laggy. Any idea of what might be causing this or what may fix it?

Go to settings/about and look at the version. I’m betting it says 1703, which is the creators update which messes up pimax. Search this forum to find the method to roll back.

my settings doesn’t have an “about” tab in it, only common and device. I know my version is 1.2.75 though

But only do that if your windows build is 1703

To check windows version
Click Start and type Winver press enter
Also make sure that the game or movie you are watching is the active window… As in that it the last window you clicked on with your mouse

The problem persists after rolling back the windows update. I’m beginning to suspect it is a problem with the headset itself, since the computer seems to run the games fine.
