I’m extremely interested if anyone knows anything about this OLED version of the Pimax? It is a reworked version of the global Pimax but with an OLED screen. You can purchase it through the following link
If anyone has any info or interest in this model please share your thoughts. I would like to purchase one but there’s no detail on which software version it runs on and there’s also no shipping option when you proceed through the checkout
Pimax engineers please give some advice on this product. It is exactly what we want in your model of Pimax. Why dont you sell this model?
If you want oled version, then just see on Deepoon E3. I think its better then Pimax 4k oled, and its ready for roomscale with Polaris Laser system (it has sensors in basic version).
I have both Rift and Vive and simply want more resolution with less god rays like everyone else. Why can none of these vendors get it right?
I have bought and tried both the 3glasses S1 and Pimax 4k with disappointment and will NEVER buy another LCD based HMD no matter how high the resolution is. There’s simply no comparison between the two
All the Windows 10 HMD’s coming out are LCD based and early reviews suggest they exact same problems as Pimax
The only other HMD I am interested in is the LG headset in development. Lets just hope they put some serious LG magic into customizing those panels
I too have Rift CV1 and Vive, but i sold Vive, too much SDE, Pimax 4k of course much worse, but i improve quality image - digital vibrance, brightness and now i like image in Pimax (i compare with vive and oculus VRMAN66 - YouTube) . But major problems - close focus of lenses (0.5 meter vs 2-5 meter Oculus/Vive), bad latency, ghosting, bad FOV. Only ghosting - it’s LCD-problem, but other (latency, drift, lenses) - it’s problem only Pimax.
Sorry, but there is no perfect HMD yet - Depoon E3 might get closer in some aspects but in others the PIMAX is also better . And then a great HMD at $400? Lol… lets see … but trolling PIMAX when all other HMD have their own problems is hypocritical to say the least.
