Well, if Pimax are still assembling the M1s and, I suppose, they have to test them, I don’t see them sent before next Friday.

the last message demonstrates once again … the sloppiness and the lack of enthusiasm on the part of the communication team.
clearly … they are lying and hiding information.
It may not be like that … but it is what they show with their behavior.
they do not teach any video the M1 version.
the few videos that have uploaded the quality is bad

We came back with “NEXT…” as usual…
I thought they had tested them last week and were sending them out to the 10 backers .

but they said “M1 closed beta We will ship M1 to the closed beta testers this month. There will be around 10 Pimax 8K testing units in total.” so maybe they will send next week

Dear Jam-Gino, if you say that their latest statement clearly is a lie, please share your information with us. I am really curious to learn how you can be so sure that they are in fact not assembling the M1 units at all.
So sure, that you actually accuse them of lying !
(Which, by the way, can be a criminal offence in many jurisdictions if not proven to be true - certainly if it leads to loss of business due to loss of reputation).
Man, why is it so hard for some to communicate their criticizm with a minimum level of decency ?

I remember that more than a month ago they commented with an image to be in the assembly process.
and it turns out that they are doing it this week.
Many contradictions I have read in a while back.
if they have complied with what they have said long ago … they should already be in the hands of the testers this May.
That’s what they wrote … I do not invent it.
where are the test units yet?
Well look … they’re still in the packaging …
I can write that they lied when they told us that this month would be in the hands of the testers.

Last week of May is next week so plenty of time yet. Think May ends on Wed (at least in Canada lol)

Alas that seems to be a ,not to mention kickstarter quotes ,and breath now return to unexsited mode
they not laying is more like wishthinking and looking through rainbow glasses
or Chinese May lasts 12 months in Dog year 
Remember people, everything we’re being given here is an estimate. Like any project with all best intentions things happen, dates move… some staff member calls in sick, a delivery is delayed because of ‘reasons’, a fault is found in a component so they have to dismantle and replace… whatever the reason just remember they are not making something with a fixed proven design, there is still last minute pioneering on a product with specifications that does not exist elsewhere.
If they want to wait a few more days to give us more detailed news, that’s fine with me.
Yes we want regular feedback, but I’m not wanting to hold them to regular fixed date.
All I need is them to do the best they can, not rush these final vital steps and keep in touch but when there is something useful to tell us.

a good thing you never lied in your life.
there is a big difference between lying and setting a goal and not be able to reach it in time.
Just chill down, i’m sure you are not one of the testers , and stop nitpicking so much.at every detail
if it doesn’t even change the future.
point is, they will ship it to the testers eventually. and telling them you are late or lying is not gonna change a thing at all…its pretty wasteful energy you are.
And we can also turn it around, as one said. In kickstarter they did not mention they will ship 10 units to testers…thats also lying? They also did not mention if they don’t like the V3 they will change the lenses completely so they
themselves find it better. All this also is lying. or are we using 2 kind of measurements like the corrupted judges in the world? i would not be surprised.
Point is, chill down a bit, why always this fcking drama sjeez.
Have patience, have faith,smile and live life ,you can die in 24h noone knows, stop living such mediocre life and nitpick at shit that doesn’t matter 
Imagine you died 3min after your post, and you can look back at life and the last min of your life you done what…

I am very relaxed … I express my opinion … I understand that you can not like everyone.
I believe that communication has many contradictions … which gives me the feeling that they lie in certain things.

You are forgetting a detail that @jonnypanic informed us on. Chinese business its normal to be zealous about dates. From suppliers to manufacturers. So suppliers say no problem ship tomorrow -> then manufacturer says we ship day after tomorrow.
What it comes down to is cultural differences in doing business. Knowing this we can relax as its not pimax. But differences in business philosophy and given that they are doing well adapting & we should do the same.

When they satisfied with all function such as lenses then they assemble the M1.
I think June is testing
July is manufacturing.
August is the first batch to shipping.
Don’t forget that if pimax don’t get green light from tester, may be late to September-October.
That’s cool @xun_shu I’ll be happy just seeing some pics of the m1 units and especially some good images of the lenses and some new videos of how the clarity is edge to edge
